De Botter is close to the Stadshart and the railway station. The housing offer of rental and owner-occupied houses (70s, 80s) is varied and many families live there. The neighbourhood has a maritime character, with street names named after boats.

Multifunctional centre
For daily shopping, head to De Botter shopping centre. There is also a new multifunctional centre with a day nursery, primary school and a care centre.
