New kind of education
SCPO Lelystad and Kidz Ahoy will jointly develop a new child centre in the new Zuiderhage district, adjacent to Warande. The child centre, Stella Nova, will be based on Reggio pedagogy, a vision that encourages children to learn by discovery in a rich, creative environment. The centre's temporary location will open on 1 August 2025, ahead of its permanent location in Zuiderhage. At Stella Nova, seven themes are central, challenging children to learn together, discover and make connections with the world around them.
