Kustwijk is located on the outskirts of Lelystad, close to the IJsselmeer. This huge neighbourhood consists of the districts Punter, Jol (with shopping centre) and Galjoen. Kustwijk is like the Big Friendly Giant: big and friendly.

By the water
The neighbourhoods border the coast, making it easy to walk onto the beach, or into the woods. Karveel borders the Zuigerplasbos and Houtribhoogte, and has a nice playground. Suyderseeboulevard and Parkhaven are on the water. From the house, it is easy to step into the boat.
