The young Warande district in the south-west is close to the centre of Lelystad. From your home, you can cycle, walk or sail straight into nature. With its social facilities, the Wijkplein is the heart of the neighbourhood. Warande is made up of: De Olmen, Het Eiland, De Elzen and De Nooten. Each neighbourhood has a unique character. The nice thing is everywhere is room to play, relax or be active in the greenery.

The elms

Neighbourhoods in Warande are named after trees, such as the typical Flevoland elm. The De Olmen section is located in the northwest of Warande, around the Olmenpark. The canal meanders through the neighbourhood like a river. Green wows you on all sides.
The Alder

This neighbourhood is located on the Torenvalktocht and the Alder Park. Alder belongs in a wetland environment. Alder has an English landscape style. So a natural look, with lots of greenery and water.

The Island

The relationship between home and water is central on the Eiland, where homes are built with the roof facing the water, allowing you to see the ever-moving water from your home.
The Nootes

A walnut tree is the symbol of wisdom. For those who want to live comfortably near Alder Park and Maple Park; this is the place to live wisely. For example, in a detached or semi-detached house in green lanes.
