Green and good living

Lelystad is getting a new district! Between Hollandse Hout and the A6 motorway, bordering Warande, 9,000 to 16,000 rental and owner-occupied homes will appear. Zuiderhage will be built over a period of 20-25 years.

In attractive neighbourhoods, you enjoy trees and plants. These are not only beautiful, but also important. All that greenery makes it less hot in summer, and prevents flooding during heavy rain. So Zuiderhage is prepared for climate change.

Sustainable city district

Zuiderhage makes important goals possible: more greenery, more (affordable) housing and less waste. How? By building sustainably and using raw materials and energy smarter. The result? A place that is good for people, animals and the planet.
