Construction project Nordlys in Lelystad gets off to a swinging start

A real brass band heralded the construction of the Nordlys project, which will add 30 new homes to the Warande neighbourhood in Lelystad, on Monday 12 May. This unique new-build project was developed in partnership by developers LATEI and Aalberts. The project consists of 20 row houses and 10 life-proof houses, designed with a clear Scandinavian inspiration. If everything goes according to plan, the homes will be delivered in 1 year.

Nordlys will be in the Groot Nooten section of Warande, where other developers are already building in abundance. The neighbourhood will have its own character with many Scandinavian influences. Think space, nature, simplicity and the use of natural materials and pastel shades. The homes are located in a rural, village setting on a green connecting zone that invites you to walk and enjoy nature. Some houses are oriented towards the Torenvalktocht, others towards this beautiful green zone.

Residents look forward to their new neighbourhood

Within Nordlys, there is a focus on the current times, with the demand for life-capable homes also becoming increasingly urgent. Together, the future residents really are a mix in age and living preferences and have had an important role in developing their own homes. At this festive launch meeting, many future residents were also in attendance. "I am very excited about the place.
