Festive start construction of Blomsterparken in Warande

In the presence of future residents and alderman Dennis Grimbergen, the official starting signal for the construction of the Blomsterparken project in Warande was given on Wednesday 14 May. Together with two residents, the alderman placed a reinforcement cage as part of the foundation of their home. This officially marked the start of construction of the 30 new homes. The 16 row houses and 14 semi-detached houses in Scandinavian style are expected to be completed in March 2026.

Groot Nooten is getting more complete

With the construction of Blomsterparken, the Groot Nooten section in Warande is becoming ever more complete. Houses are under construction in several places and the neighbourhood is taking shape. This festive kick-off moment is a great way for future residents to see how their new neighbourhood is developing. Alderman Dennis Grimbergen: "Lelystad needs this unique mix of homes. The life stage of the buyers, from starters to seniors, is well matched. This gives the neighbourhood a nice mixed composition, where young and old can enjoy themselves, in the midst of nature."

Groot Nooten is located in Lelystad's newest neighbourhood Warande, between two parks. These park forests are connected by a green connecting zone. This zone forms the heart of Groot Nooten, with homes overlooking it. From the main layout of Groot Nooten, the area is divided in two by the green connecting zone: the park zone on Zilverschoonlaan and the water zone on Torenvalktocht. A different colour palette applies to both zones. IJsselland Ontwikkeling will build on Pinksterbloemlaam and Bosveldkers in shades of green, and towards the water the houses will rise in shades of blue. The houses will be built in a contemporary, rural village style, covered with faint gable roofs and large roof overhangs. The Scandinavian style fits in well with this.
